The So Cal Bhangra Committee regrets to inform you that SoCal Bhangra VIII scheduled for April 10, 2010 has been canceled with no future date in mind. With the current economic climate and multiple competing events in Southern California that weekend, very few tickets were purchased for the event and the show’s financiers would not allow the show to happen without a reasonable amount of individuals in attendance. In addition, it would be a shame for all the hardworking teams to perform without an audience in attendance.
We appreciate all the teams who applied and were selected for the competition. Also, with a limited audience we do not expect teams of your stature to perform. All performers, participants, and sponsors will receive refunds for deposits and payments made. We hope to kick back in full gear sometime in the near future.
